Our Crazy Ohana

These were taken last year around Memorial Day when Jason brought home his fiance and daughter to meet the PARENTS! They are two very beautiful girls and we are all blessed to have them be Chong's.

Merry Christmas

Since all of our children have migrated out west, Rob and I decided to go to them for Christmas. We decided that we would all visit Chelsea and her family in the Boise area. Jason and his family drove up and spent one night before continuing on to Oregon, where Carissa's family resides. Not to mention Terrence in that area for his mission right now! They were able to spend a little time with him. We had a lot of fun watching the grandkids open their presents and enjoy playing with each other.

Happy Halloween!

So I am going back a bit just because I feel like it. Chelsea, Mikaela and Pono came out for a month in October. It was nice to see the grandbabies. We aren't quite used to not having them around anymore. We've been quite spoiled having them around since they were born. Now we know what most grandparents go through!

Mikaela absolutely loves The Little Mermaid and decided that she wanted to be Ariel-la-la and Pono was to be her little sidekick, Crab-astian. His name is Sebastian, but Mikaela refuses to call him that because he is a crab, not a seb! Mikaela was quite amused with the trick-or-treating idea...as she went door to door, all she had to do was stand there with her princess bucket and people willingly put candy in it each and every time! She lasted an hour and a half before asking to go home and go night-night.

Journey to the Northeast

Last fall Rob and I decided to take a drive. We went to Kennebunkport, Maine as our final destination. The homes were magnificent, the foliage was awesome and the weather was cold! We had some of the BEST seafood we have EVER had. It was a short trip as we had to get back so I could clean before Chelsea and the grandkids came to visit!

It's about time!

Okay, okay! We got the message loud and clear that we needed to start a blog. I will have to admit, I cannot do this on my own and hope that my children who do blog, will help their computer-challenged mother. This is my third attempt at this, so hopefully it will work. Just wanted to get a couple posts up to make sure and then the pictures and updates shall begin!
